What’s New?

Alt Rewards is built to give you full transparency into what you’ll earn with each sale. Your status updates each quarter based on how much you sell, and the more you sell, the more you make. It’s that simple.

How It Works

Your quarterly transaction total—from Alt Auctions and Fixed Price sales—determines your Alt Rewards status. At the start of each new quarter, your total resets, and you have the chance to level up again.

There are four tiers:

• Base: Under $25,000
• Silver: $25,000 – $100,000
• Gold: $100,000 – $300,000
• Black: Over $300,000

Your status determines your bonus payouts, seller fees, and access to exclusive benefits like unlimited shipping, premium support, and special events.

Your status is valid for the remainder of a quarter, plus the following one; however, your quarterly transaction total resets to $0 at the start of every quarter. Track your progress each quarter under My Alt in the Alt app.

Here’s what you unlock at each tier:

Alt Auction Payout Rates (based on total submission value)

Earn up to 115% of the sale price depending on your tier and submission value at the time of submission.

What does submission value mean? Review our glossary below for all the details!

Fixed Price Seller Fees (based on final card sale price)

Enjoy lower seller fees the more you sell. Black tier sellers pay as little as 4%.

Additional Benefits

Unlock exclusive features on Alt

• Premium Support: As a Silver, Gold, or Black status Alt customer, you receive priority handling with a 30-minute response SLA during business hours. While all customers have access to support during the hours listed below, premium status members move to the front of the line for faster assistance.
• Unlimited Shipping with No Fees: Alt waives all outtake fees for Black status customers—regardless of storage duration or card value.
• Special Events: As a Black status member, you’re invited exclusive Alt events to connect with other people in the hobby.

Alt’s new Snap to Sell feature works hand-in-hand with Alt Rewards. You can:

1. Snap a photo of your cards (the more you submit, the better your rates)
2. Get a cash advance estimate in 1 business day
3. Review your estimate and rewards status
4. Ship and get paid automatically
5. Get paid again once the card sells at auction

Every sale through Snap to Sell counts toward your Alt Rewards status, so you’re always earning and climbing.

Alt Rewards Glossary

Alt Auctions

This is one way to sell on Alt to earn rewards. Auctions run for 14 days and end every Thursday.

Buyer’s Premium

When you sell in Alt Auctions, we don’t charge the seller’s a fee. Instead a 20% buyer’s premium is applied to the hammer price of a card.

Hammer Price: $1,000

Buyer’s Premium: $200

Seller Bonus: 106%

Final Payout: $1,060

Seller Bonus

This is your additional payout on auction cards. You’ll receive 100% of the hammer price, plus a portion of the buyer’s premium, which we call a seller bonus.

Submission / Submission Value

A submission is a group of cards you sell in Alt Auctions. The more cards you include in a submission (the higher the submission value on the group), the better cash advance rate and seller bonus rate you receive.

Submission Value is determined at the time of sending your cards in and is unrelated to the actual final sale price of the item in Alt Auctions.

All payout rates in the Alt Rewards program are based on Total Submission Value, not for individual cards. The more you sell, the more you earn!

Fixed Price Marketplace

This is the other way to sell on Alt to earn rewards. Set your own list price and let users make offers on your cards. Sellers cover a small listing fee based on the final sale price.

Quarterly Transaction Total (QTT)

This is the number that Alt uses to determine your Alt Rewards status. Each quarter, your final sales amount

Rewards Tiers

These are the buckets of rewards users can be sorted into based on their Quarterly Transaction Total. Once you’re in a tier, that is known as your ‘status’. All users automatically qualify for Base status when they sell on Alt.

Based on the Quarterly Transaction Total above ($85,000), this user would qualify for Silver status.

Quarterly Rewards Period

Your Rewards status is valid from the date you hit the next tier for the remainder of the quarter, and then next quarter too!
